Family Affairs new collection was introduced to society -and what a good society- during all the New York Fashion Week bustle. When I received the invitation for the presentation event at The Deep End Club I could have easily been on tears. Well, you know, I live in Madrid and I can't take the subway to go to the 1st and then happily go back home. Next year, I should try to schedule something and then my convince my future husband to come along with some rare show. (I'm sure it wouldn't be a hard negotiation).
Milk and Honey is the suggestive name the collection goes by, bringing autumn, warmth, sweetness and coziness to mind. However, seems to me, that the new pieces have a dark magic feel to it, potions and mermaids and some nice witchcraft. There is a mix of unique and comfortable with wise sexy that just appeals to me 100%. The inspiration takes us mainly to old Europe this time, guess Swiss Nina can't help it but to delight us with images of her (and mine) native continent.
